To the editor:
Residents of the city of Shawano: On April 4, you will have an opportunity to turn a god park system into a great park system.
The Shawano Parks and Recreation Department referendum, if approved, will provide wonderful new opportunities to enjoy the outdoors for Shawano citizens of every age group. The improvements at Memorial Park, Smalley Park and Franklin Park will greatly enhance our enjoyment of the outdoors with minimal effect on our pocketbooks.
Please vote yes on the parks and recreation department referendum.
