Colleen D. Olick

Colleen D. Olick, 59, of the town of Wescott, passed away Tuesday evening, Sept. 26, 2017, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee.

Colleen was born on Dec. 4, 1957, in Holland, Michigan, a daughter of Carol (Wood) Simenson and the late William Simenson. On Aug. 18, 2001, she was united in marriage to Randy Olick at St. John’s Lutheran Church Belle Plaine. The couple lived in Shawano their entire marriage.

Colleen had been employed as the department head of medical records at Columbia St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was a member of Hope Community Church in Shawano. She was an active volunteer in the Big Brother Big Sister program in Shawano. She loved to cook, care for her flower gardens, and tend to her family of animals.

Colleen had a heart of gold, giving to others on a regular basis, expecting nothing in return.

Colleen is survived by her loving husband, Randy, of Shawano; her mother, Carol Simenson, of Janesville; her sisters, Rosebud (Joseph) Phillips, Dawn (John) Chrobak, Barbara (Brian) Decker and Joanne Simenson, all of Janesville; her sister-in-law, Pam (Ron) Raddant, of the town of Waukechon; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Simenson; her brother, Barry Simenson; and an infant sister, Christine Simenson.

A memorial service for Colleen D. Olick will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Hope Community Church in Shawano. Pastor John Anderson will officiate. Relatives and friends may call from noon until the hour of service.
