Teaching the children at Menominee Tribal School for the past 20 years was very important to her, as were the people she worked beside. Dixon, Khloe L.E. Corn, Kateri Dixon, Hayden Dixon, Sage M. Corn and Geneva Dixon; her godchildren, Charlotta J. Perez and Timothy J. Dixon Jr.; her parents, Richard and Sylvia Dodge; sisters, Jeanette (Camilo) Perez, of Keshena, Wendy (Larry) Warrington, of Keshena, and Lorraine Cochran-Powell, of Oklahoma; brothers, Kenneth Dodge, of Keshena, Lawrence (Lori) Dodge, of Shawano, Richard (Denise) O’Kimosh Sr., of Keshena, Benjamin B. Cochran, of Oklahoma, and Morris L. Cochran, of Oklahoma; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, who were very special to her. She is further survived by extended family and friends, Dawn Wilber, Annette (Marty) Emerich Koleno, Gert (Bob) Delabrue, Marci Grignon, Julie Hill and countless more that she will continue to watch over until rejoining them.

She was preceded in death by her father, William S. Cochran; brothers, Roger F. Dodge and Ronnie Grant; mother-in-law, Lois Dixon; and father-in-law, Vyron Dixon Sr.

Funeral services for Barbie will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2017, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. Francis Zurbano officiating. Visitation will be held at the Richard and Sylvia Dodge residence, N1597 State Highway 55, Keshena, until the procession to the church on Friday.
