Ryan Robert Brodhagen, 37, of Shawano, died on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. He was born on Aug. 24, 1981, in Shawano, the son of Bruce and Lynn (Klaeser) Brodhagen. Ryan enjoyed hunting and fishing, and especially loved playing with his kids. He had a huge heart, was willing and eager to help anyone, and had a tremendous sense of humor. Ryan was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Lynn Brodhagen, of Shawano; fiancée, Elizabeth “Liz” Pocan; his children, Noah Brodhagen, Denzyl Franco and Braxen Brodhagen, all of Shawano; his sister, Erin (Ben) Van Oss, of Shawano; and maternal grandmother, Shirley Klaeser, of Caroline. Ryan is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Mary Lou Brodhagen and Robert Klaeser.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano and again on Saturday at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
