Delores Berkhahn, 89, of Green Bay, formerly of Cecil, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019, in Green Bay. Delores was born in Shawano on April 8, 1929, daughter of the late William and Selma (Kosbab) Prahl. Delores married George J. Berkhahn at Immanuel Lutheran Church-White Clay Lake. George preceded Delores in death on Feb. 7, 2006. Delores enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing and, most of all, spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
Delores is survived by a son, John (Brenda) Berkhahn, of Green Bay; five grandchildren, Brittney Berkhahn, Ashley Berkhahn, Camryn Berkhahn, Deric Marks and Dustin Marks; and two brothers, Jake Prahl, of Appleton, and Leonard (Sally) Prahl, of Seymour. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; two children, Jerry Berkhahn and Julie in infancy; her parents; and two brothers, Charlie and Willard.
A funeral service for Delores was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Immanuel Lutheran Church-White Clay Lake with the Rev. Steven Pockat officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation was held at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
