Bryan “Sid” Lepscier Sr., 61, of Keshena, died on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018. He was born on March 27, 1957, in Keshena, where he lived most of his life. He worked as a police officer, for the DNR, as the Menominee County coroner, as well as the Menominee County sheriff and tribal chief of police. Sid was united in marriage to Mary Kreevich in Las Vegas.
Sid is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Bryan S. (Jennifer Kessen) Lepscier Jr., Destiny (George Frechette) Lepscier, Justin (Crystal) Lepscier, Kate (Lee) Mikle, Kolia Hischke, Kyla (Corey) Jones and Klint Hischke; grandchildren, Amaya, Oliver, Ariana, Pamela, Riley, Robert, Alijah, Caroline, Jacob, Madyson and Maizy. He is further survived by his brother, Ralph (Margaret) Lyons; his sisters, Louise “BabyLou” (Darrell) Madosh, Edna Penass, Barbara (Jerry) Allery, Roberta Penass, Carol Penass, Linda (John Mark “Hub” Latender) Penass and Toni (Marvin) Spruce; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramona Skenadore and Myrtle and Oliver Lepscier.
Funeral services for Sid will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Keshena with the Rev. Joel Jores officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
