
Audrey Ann (Carroll) Pennycook, 89, of Shawano passed away on Saturday, Sept.1, 2018. Audrey was born in Milton Township, daughter of the late Clarence and Frances (Patterson) Carroll. She was a charter member of the Shawano Lake Lioness and an active member of Zion Lutheran Church. She received the Melvin Jones Award from Lions Club International Foundation and the Shawano Area Agricultural Society Award for community service.
She enjoyed bowling, golfing, sewing, crafts and watching all Wisconsin sports teams.
Audrey is survived by her children, Sue (Dennis), Jan (Michael), Linda and Bill (Emmy); grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Frank Pennycook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; their infant son, Thomas; her parents; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Dave McCulloch, Mary and Dick Brookins; in-laws Bob and Karen Pennycook; and son-in-law David Bandauski.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano with the Rev. Dennis Nelson officiating. Inurnment for Audrey and Gordon Pennycook will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park in Janesville at a later date. Visitation will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Shawano Lake Lioness for Rosholt Lions Camp or the Zion Lutheran Church Women (ZLCW) for kitchen upgrades.
