Richard “Dick” Gleesing, 84, of Tigerton, died on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017.
Richard was the son of the late Albert and Margel (Moorehouse) Gleesing. Dick was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Gleesing, and three brothers, Ronald, Bert and Harold.
Dick is survived by his children, Jean Fenner, Lynn Steiner, Karen Cardenas, Mark Gleesing, Michael Gleesing, Margaret “Peggy” Skenandore and Andrew Gleesing; his stepchildren, Craig McKay, Sheri Scifo, Brad McKay, Cindy Anheier, Diane McKay and Roger McKay; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Dick will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at Swedberg Funeral Home Shawano with the Rev. Roger McKay officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Shawano American Legion Post 117. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from noon until the time of the service.
