
Marjorie Pahlow, 91, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017. She was born on July 12, 1926, in Shawano, the daughter of the late Herman and Freida (Dey) Bubolz.
On April 18, 1963, she was united in marriage to Hugo “Sam” Pahlow. Sam preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1987.
Marjorie managed the Samar Club, later called Cypress Club, for 20 years and Club 22 for 10 years, until retiring in 1998. She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ.
Marjorie is survived by two sons, Ervin (Sherry) Wegner, of Neenah, and Randy Wegner, of Shawano; three daughters, Bonnie Stehli, of Menomonee Falls, Carmen (Roger) VanHaitsma, of Michigan, and Debbie (Dave) Miller, of Suamico; three stepsons, Don (Judy) Pahlow, of Shawano, Richard (Sue) Pahlow, of Shawano, and James Pahlow, of Shawano; two stepdaughters, Cheryl (Dennis) Timm, of Green Bay, and Lee Ellen (Gary) Johnson, of Green Bay. She is further survived by 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; her sister, Darlene Moesch; and her sister-in-law, Darlene Bubolz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugo “Sam,” in 1987; her daughter, Karen Long, on Dec. 18, 1994; a grandson; a great-grandson; three brothers; and one daughter-in-law.
Funeral services for Marjorie will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, at Peace United Church of Christ with the Rev. Marty Black officiating. Burial will be in St. Jakobi Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
