Ron Anderson, 74, of Tucson, Arizona, died Sept. 10, 2017, after a long battle with ALS and Parkinson’s disease.
He is survived by his wife, Greta (Knope); daughter, Melissa (husband, JJ, and their son, Seth); and son, Erik (wife, Miquela, and their daughter, Charlotte).
Before his illness Ron was CFO for the Jim Click automotive team for 22 years. Ron was born in Chicago, graduated from the University of Iowa and spent four years in the Air Force. He was an avid golfer and loved anything to do with racing. Racing his kart with friends at Musselmann Honda Circuit was one of Ron’s favorite activities.
Ron was known for his integrity and honesty, and will be missed by all who were privileged to know him.
A memorial service will be held at Adair Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave., Oro Valley, Arizona, Saturday, Sept. 16, at 2:30 p.m.
