Faye Marie Jung, 60, of Shawano, died on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Born on Sept. 8, 1955, in Shawano, she was the daughter of Edna (Teske) Buettner and the late Rubin Albert Buettner.
Following Faye’s graduation from Gresham High School in 1973, she was united in marriage to Edgar Jung III on Aug. 18, 1974, in Gresham. She worked in quality control for various companies, including Sturm Foods, Arrowcast and Sexing Technology of Texas, a cattle reproduction company.
Having lived all her life in Shawano County, she enjoyed her involvement with 4-H, helping local farmers by “farm-sitting” on the weekends, attending church and school programs, as well as camping.
Faye and her husband attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Faye is survived by her husband, Edgar; her children, Edgar Jason (Angela) Jung IV, of Caroline, Cathy Lynn (Mike) Michonski, of Clintonville, Elmer Michael (Sarah) Jung, of Gillett, and Eric Albert Jung, of Clintonville; and 10 grandchildren, Kayla, Blake, Kelsee, Evelyn, Chase, Lacey, Jetlyn, Magnum, Landon and Corben. She is further survived by her mother, Edna, of Shawano; a sister, Doreen (Daniel) Holmes, of Pennsylvania, and a brother, Allen (Nancy) Buettner, of Gresham.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rubin.
Funeral services will held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Tim Lofgren officiating. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
