Harold W. Hendricks, 89, of Bonduel, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family. Harold was born May 2, 1928, in De Pere, son of the late Antone and Wilhemina (Van Lanen) Hendricks.
On Oct. 2, 1952, Harold was united in marriage to Rosalie Hermus at St. John’s Catholic Church in Seymour. Together the couple raised seven children. Harold enjoyed working in farming, milk hauling, trucking and excavating throughout his life. He was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Cecil, where he volunteered as an usher, and the Knights of Columbus. He was a fourth degree knight and was the chairman of the Special Olympics council. He was also a volunteer fireman for the Hobart Fire Department for several years.
In his free time, Harold enjoyed playing cards, playing the accordion and working on small engines. He loved the special time he spent hunting with his brothers, sons and grandsons. He truly loved his family and cherished the time he was able to spend with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Harold was a “wonderful” husband, father and grandfather, and will be deeply missed by his friends and his family.
