Daroll R. Mueller

Daroll R. Mueller, 82, of Clintonville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, April 26, 2017, surrounded by his family at ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano.

Daroll was born on Jan. 9, 1935, in Shawano County as the son of the late Harry and Dorothy (Radtke) Mueller. In 1953, he graduated from Shawano High School and then graduated from a two-year drafting apprenticeship in Milwaukee. On April 16, 1955, he married Nancy Baril at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. The couple lived the remainder of their lives in Clintonville, where they became members of St. Martin Lutheran Church.

As a member at St. Martin, Daroll served on the cemetery board and ushered for many years. He also volunteered in various other church activities.

Daroll worked for 42 years at FWD/Seagrave in Clintonville as a chassis designer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved to fly fish for bluegill and trout. He also enjoyed playing basketball and pitched slow-pitch softball well after his retirement.

Survivors include his wife of over 62 years, Nancy Mueller, Clintonville; children, Kurt (Sharon) Mueller, Appleton, Glenn Mueller, Wausau, Valarie (Loran) Susor, Minocqua, and Kent (Cindy) Mueller, Marshfield; grandchildren, Erin (Andy) Scott, Fall Creek, Corey (Cassie) Mueller, Merrill, Bradley (special friend Emily Butkus) Mueller, McFarland, and Benjamin Susor, Minocqua; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Olivia Mueller, Merrill, and Rheya Scott, Fall Creek; sister, Lana (Roger) Buelow, Shawano; sister-in-law, Carol Baril, Kimberly; and numerous other relatives.

Daroll was preceded in death by his parents.

Daroll’s funeral service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville with the Rev. Christian Burg officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery in the Township of Larrabee, Waupaca County. Friends may call at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville on Friday from 4-7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
