
Daniel L. Rambo, 65, Birnamwood, died on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital under the care of LeRoyer Hospice, Antigo.
He was born on March 2, 1952, the son of Leonard and Evelyn (Noffke) Rambo, Wittenberg.
Dan worked for Briggs and Stratton for many years until moving to Birnamwood. He then worked at Top Brass, Wittenberg, and Fleet Farm, Antigo.
Dan was an avid Harley Davidson rider and was a biker his whole life. He enjoyed woodworking and had a workshop in his garage. Dan enjoyed horseshoes, NASCAR, deer hunting, the Green Bay Packers and was often found barbecuing on his grill.
Survivors include his parents, Leonard and Evelyn Rambo, Wittenberg; three children, Angelica Rambo, Milwaukee, Paul (Melanie) Rambo, Las Vegas, Troy Lee (Vanessa) Rambo, Missouri; two stepchildren, Kristi Odell and Angela Odell; five grandchildren, Tyler, Samantha, A.J., Rowan, and Aeden; one stepgrandchild, Nick Odell; one great-grandchild, Kyle; two sisters, Sharon Rambo, Gresham and Donna Hanke, Birnamwood; former wife, Sharon Rambo, Milwaukee; special friend, Jane Hoerman, Antigo; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his brother David Rambo; former wife, Lucille Rambo; and stepson Michael Odell.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home Birnamwood. The Rev. Michael Larson will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
