Adeline Dorothy Beilfuss, 89, of Shawano, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, in Shawano. Adeline was born on April 22, 1926, in the town of Maple Valley to the late Charley and Hazel (Boettcher) Zahn.
She was united in marriage to Allen H. Beilfuss on Oct. 25, 1948, in Bessemer, Michigan. Allen preceded her in death on March 10, 2001. Although she was born in Oconto County, she lived most of her life in Shawano County, where she and Allen farmed.
Adeline was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine.
Adeline is survived by her son, Allen (Elizabeth) Beilfuss Jr., of Shawano, and her foster daughter, Peggy (Allen) Lange, of Shawano. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Amber and Eric Beilfuss; her foster grandchildren, Brian and Lisa; as well as two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hailey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen; one son, Ricky; her parents; and one brother, Marvin Zahn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine with the Rev. Kurt Kluge officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, from 4-8 p.m. and again at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.
