Frances P. Jeglum

Frances Patricia “Pat” Jeglum, of Mission, Texas, was born on Nov. 6, 1943, and passed away on Oct. 25, 2016. She was the eldest child of seven siblings.

She is survived by Rose Anne Ringelman (Roger), of Weirsdale, Florida, David Kehoe, of Baraboo, Daniel Kehoe (Sheree), of Madison, Jeannette Miller (Bennett), of Kingston, Oklahoma, Kevin Kehoe (Rene), of Bessie, Oklahoma, Connie Purcell, of Oshkosh, Ann Sharon Bodin, of Kenai, Alaska, and family, numerous nieces and nephews, and the family of Louis White.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jeglum; her longtime partner, Louis White; her parents, Lawrence and Lillian Kehoe; her stepfather, William Radtke; her brother, William Kehoe; her sister-in-law, Dianne Kehoe; her nephew, Ryan Ringelman; and her stepson, Jeffrey Jeglum.

Pat graduated from Baraboo High School and Viterbo University in La Crosse. She was employed by Badger Ordnance Works in Baraboo, Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation in Madison and American Milk Producers in Shawano.

She lived with a larger than life attitude and brought joy to everyone she touched. She enjoyed having her pet cats and dogs and is survived by her little dog, Queenie, in Mission, Texas. She enjoyed playing golf late in her life, and she was always interested in bird-watching and supported the Audubon Society.

Memorial services will be planned at a later date.

Pat’s family would like to thank the staff at McAllen Heart Hospital and Amara Hospice for their compassionate care and efforts to make Pat’s transition comfortable and peaceful.
