
Bobby Ray Gilbreath, 70, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, at his home.
Bobby was born on May 10, 1946, in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of the late Pharm and Hilda (Moore) Gilbreath. On June 4, 1966, he was united in marriage to Mary Johnson in Milwaukee. They lived in Milwaukee, where he worked at Milwaukee Forge for 29 years before retiring and moving to Shawano in 2004.
Bobby served our country by enlisting in the National Guard.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary; their children, Steven (Colleen) Gilbreath, of Florida, David (Tina) Gilbreath, of St. Francis, Lisa (fiancé Bubba Smith) Olszewski, of St. Francis, and Jennifer (Jeremy) Hager, of Racine; eight grandchildren, Steven Jr., Robert, Becky, Miranda, Amber, Jackie, Erin and Ayden; and his close friend, Jeff Parsons, of Shawano.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kayla, his parents, and two brothers, Donald and Rhodney.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with the Rev. Scott Ludford officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
