
Mary Elizabeth Mueller, 82, of Bonduel, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, in Milwaukee.
Mary was born on Sept. 25, 1933, in Green Bay, the daughter of the late Harry and Antoinette (Tilkens) Van Roy. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy and St. Norbert College.
Mary was united in marriage to Howard R. Mueller on June 25, 1960, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in De Pere. She worked as a medical technician in both the Shawano and Bonduel clinics and helped to organize the Volunteer Blood Bank. Mary was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Cecil and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved knitting and crocheting, but more than anything Mary loved spoiling her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Howard; their children, Jeff, Peter (Beth) and Thomas (Laura); four grandchildren, Maxwell Mueller, Harrison Mueller, Rachael (Nathan) Orlando and Rebecca (Sean) McDonald; one great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn, and one great-grandson, Griffin. She is further survived by two sisters, Alyce (Ralph) Stahlberg and Kathleen Schneider; one sister-in-law, Corinne Anderson; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Mueller.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Adam, her parents, and one sister, Bernadine Van Roy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Cecil with the Rev. Luke Ferris and Deacon Mike Grzeca officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, from 4-7 p.m. and again at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the services.
