
Sharon Jeannine (Olson) Ross, 80, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. She was born on Sept. 7, 1935, in Shawano.
Sharon accomplished many roles during her lifetime, from homemaker to factory worker, from cook to school bus driver. However, her most fulfilling role was as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Sharon was also an avid knickknack collector and loved to play bingo. Sharon lived her days in Wisconsin (Shawano County/Waupaca County), Alamogordo, New Mexico, and Tucson.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald Ross; children, Robert (Sandy) Olson, Dawn Ross, Ronald (Kim) Ross, Brenda Valencia, Dennis Ross and Ryan (Laura) Ross; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Darlene Beyer, Duane (Midge) Olson, Delyle Olson, Jerome Olson and Charmaine Olson, wife to Verlyn Olson. Sharon is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sharon was proceeded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mildred (Heafs) Olson; sisters and brothers, Donna Krause and husband, Clifford, Norma Grosskreutz and husband, Clifton, May Olson, wife to Delyle Olson, Norman Beyer, husband to Darlene Beyer, Verlyn Olson and Alfred Olson Jr.; son and daughter, Donald Ross Jr. and Leilani Eberly.
A memorial and a celebration of her life will be held at the Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Lunds later this year.
