June L. (Robbins) Ferrero, 84, of the Town of Lessor, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at home. June was born May 31, 1934, to Fannie Robbins. She was raised by her very special grandparents, June and Frank Robbins. She grew up with her aunts and uncles, which she felt were her brothers and sisters; all are now deceased. She married Joseph P. Ferrero Sr. on Oct. 20, 1952. They were happily married for 66 years. They had a son and a daughter.
June loved to garden and spent as much time as daylight allowed from late spring until early fall in her flower beds. She liked seeing and showing everyone all of her flowers blossoming. She loved spending time with her family. June liked being outdoors, all flowers, animals, playing cards and word search puzzles. She enjoyed watching TV, old Western movies, Wheel of Fortune and of course watching her favorite football team, the Packers.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; two children, Joseph (Donna) Ferrero Jr. and Robin (Kevin) Kettner and her son, Andy (Jen) Hoffman. She had six grandchildren, Lisa (Bryan) Voelz, Kevin (Angie) Kettner, Mike Kettner, Carl (Steph) Kettner, Robert Kettner and Joie (Sam) Ferrero. She had seven great-grandchildren, Alex Kettner, Evan Kuhn, Bryce Voelz, Andrew Kettner, Jacob Kettner, Kaylee Voelz and Logan Kettner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews on both sides of her family.
A celebration of her life was held for June on March 30, 2019.
