She was preceded in death by her daughters, Gwendolyn and Amber Peters; father- and mother-in-law, Orvis James and Patricia Peters; sister-in-law, Skinny Peters; and brother-in-law, Mike Peters.

A funeral Mass for Jessie will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Keshena. The Rev. Joel Jores will be the Celebrant. Visitation began on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at 4 p.m. at the James residence, N975 Old South Branch Road, Keshena, and will continue until the procession leaves for church on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. A parish wake service will be held on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at 7 p.m. at the James residence.
