
Ferril F. Lindroth, age 95 of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, November 25, 2018, at Kindred Hearts of Shawano.
Ferril was born March 16, 1923, on the Schmidt Farm near Tilleda, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Joseph and Erda (Reinert) Schmidt. She attended country schools, and graduated from Marion High School. Following high school she was trained in dental hygiene by Dr. Lorenz of Shawano. She worked as a dental hygienist for several years.
On September 4, 1943, Ferril was united in marriage to George Lindroth at the rectory of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. The couple spent their entire married life in Shawano. Ferril is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, quilting, baking, and canning. Her husband preceded her in death on September 6 1990.
Survivors include her loving children, Barbara (Dan) Palmer, and Robert (Barb) Lindroth; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two aa; and one brother, Randall Schmidt of Shawano. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Robert John Lindroth; and two brothers, Archie and Birger Schmidt.
A Funeral Mass for Ferril F. Lindroth will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. Fr. Tom Farrell will be the Celebrant. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will begin at the church on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. and continue until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers and plants, the family prefers memorials in Ferril’s name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
