Marian E. Schneider

Marian Elaine Schneider, age 89 of Shawano, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 in Shawano. Born on August 11, 1929 in Clintonville, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Vivian (Zell) Buelow. On May 24, 1952 she was united in marriage to Leonard Schneider in Clintonville. Leonard preceded her in death on July 29, 2009. Marian enjoyed traveling with her husband, shopping, sewing and playing cards. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing pranks on her family and friends. Marian was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano.

Marian is survived by: six children, Daryl (Kathy) Schneider of Shawano, Diane (Richard) Hicks of Sugarcreek, OH, Kathryn (Charles) Bublitz of Lomira, Jennifer (Cole) Braun of Merton, David (Myrna) Schneider of Pardeeville and Jackie (David) Passow of West Bend; 12 grandchildren, Bradley, Derek, Ursula, Kevin, Eric, Marla, Ross, Andrew, Craig, Evan, Lydia, Kyle; 15 great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Sawyer, Cooper, Benjamin, Aurelia, Lorelai, Jackson, Greta, Will, Creighton, Layla, Stella, Duke, Ella, Leo. Marian is further survived by two sisters, Dorothy Neilson of New London and Anne Behnke of Clintonville.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Leonard; her parents; and two brothers, Ellsworth and Delmar.

A memorial service for Marian will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev. Scott Ludford officiating. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to ThedaCare At Home Hospice.
