William J. “Billy” Wheelock

William Jack Wheelock Sr., 41, of Neopit, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, in Shawano. Billy was born at Shawano Hospital on Dec. 6, 1976, to Wayne and Barbara (Sanapaw) Wheelock Sr. Billy was a true woodsman and had a deep passion for the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing and shanging. Billy was an avid Packer fan and never missed the chance to watch a game. He also enjoyed shooting pool and was a talented artist. He especially enjoyed painting and drawing. More than anything, he loved spending time with his children.

Billy is survived by his significant other, Raenell Penass; his children, Cami Kaquatosh, William Wheelock Jr., River Wheelock, Wynona Wheelock and Libby Wheelock; his parents, Wayne Wheelock and Barbara Wheelock; his brothers, Wayne (Shasheen) Wheelock Jr. and Sanome (Danielle) Wheelock; sisters, Tristen (Merle) Pamonicutt and Bobbi Lynn (Jerome) Wheelock; a grandmother, Ramona Wheelock; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Warren Wheelock, in infancy and grandparents, Merceline and Jerome Sanapaw and Robert “Bob” Wheelock.

Traditional services will be held at the Leona Sanapaw residence located at N2077 Wikihsahtek “White Birch” Road, Neopit, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018. Visitation began at the residence at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, and will continue until the service on Thursday.
