Shelby Jean Schoenfeld, 65, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at the home of her daughter, Billie Jo. Shelby was born on Oct. 27, 1952, in Cecil, the daughter of the late Alois and Dorothy (Hansen) Born. On Aug. 31, 1974, Shelby was united in marriage to the late Bill Schoenfeld at Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano. She was a kind and gentle soul who loved spending time with her friends and family, and spoiling her dog, Pootie. Shelby will be greatly missed.
Shelby is survived by her children, Heather (Ben) Turrell, of Chilton, and Billie Jo (Luke) Kotecki, of Green Bay; along with 10 grandchildren, James, Jonathan, Jonah, Jillian, Joel, Jacob, Johanna, and Jessica Turrell, and Chloe and Ella Kotecki.
A memorial service for Shelby will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at Faith United Church in Gillett with the Rev. John Laatsch officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
