
James L. Mory, 75, of Cecil, passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018. Born on Jan. 20, 1943, in Black Creek, son of Merlin and Mildred (Ruwoldt) Mory. Jim graduated from Seymour High School and served in the National Guard. He worked at Paper Converting and eventually Fabio Perini Paper Company, where he was known to his coworkers as “Papa Perf”. On July 14, 1992, Jim was united in marriage to Catherine Ann Sommers in South Dakota. The couple lived in Green Bay for many years until moving to Shawano in 2008 and recently to Mason Woods in Cecil. Jim was an outdoorsman, he loved living in the country and enjoyed golfing and gardening. He also enjoyed working in his shop and going to auctions in his free time.
Jim is survived by his wife, Cathy; two children, Randall and Kristen; grandchildren; his mother, Mildred Mory, of Seymour; siblings, Larry Frank Mory, Mary Ann Spaude, Jean Marie Mory and Steve William (Renee) Mory;. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Merlin Mory.
A funeral service for Jim will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, at the Swedberg Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
