Steven J. Waite, 64, of Clintonville, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017. Steven was born in Shawano on Oct. 10, 1953, the son of the late Jack and Joan M. (Liesch) Waite. He graduated from Clintonville High School in 1971. Before opening Waite Landscape with his son Kyle, Steven worked for Shawano Lawn and Stone. Steven was an avid hunter and golfer and was often spotted driving around town with his dog, Floyd, and spending time with family and friends.
Steven is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Micah) Griseta and their children, Ariana, Gavin and Isabella, of Cottage Grove; his son, Kyle (Andrea) Waite and their children, Livia and Hannah, of Bonduel; his sisters, Brenda (David) Winslow, of Verona, Robin (Mike) Schultz, of Clintonville, Jacqueline Waite, of Appleton, and Catherine “Toad” (Terry) Schroeder, of Neenah; and his special friend, Jan McDermid.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service for Steven will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Mr. Richard Menning officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established.
